Create The Sound

Join Creative Girls Rock® for an exciting new pilot program designed for middle school girls to explore creativity through music, rhythm, and storytelling.

Sound & Story Lab is a 5-week immersive experience where participants will learn how to express themselves, collaborate with others, and bring their ideas to life through sound.

This program creates a safe and empowering environment for girls to build confidence, find their voice, and develop creative skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Program Details

📅 Dates: April 28 – May 29, 2026
🗓 Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ Time: 4:00–6:00 PM
📍 Location: Forward Creative Commons at Bordeaux

Program Schedule

This program runs for 5 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Who Should Attend:

  • Teen Girls, Ages 12-17

  • Creative thinkers and aspiring artists

  • Beginners welcome—no experience needed

What Participants Will Gain:

  • Confidence in self-expression

  • Introduction to rhythm, lyrics, and storytelling

  • Collaboration and teamwork skills

  • A completed creative project

Important Details:

  • This is a pilot program

  • Limited to 10 participants for an intimate experience

  • Consistent attendance is encouraged

Transportation Notice:

Transportation is not provided for this program. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Forward Creative Commons at Bordeaux.

If your child will be walking to and/or from the program, a signed permission acknowledgment is required during registration.
