Creative Kids Rock
Creative Kids Rock®️ (CKR) was established in 2023 under the CGR Youth Development initiative to provide youth with meaningful opportunities to explore their creativity, express themselves, and build confidence through the arts.
In partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) and community partners, CKR delivers engaging, culturally responsive programming that integrates creative arts with social-emotional learning. A signature component of this work is our Colors & Conversations program—an arts-based experience designed to create safe spaces for youth to explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences through guided dialogue and creative expression.
Through CKR, participants engage in a variety of hands-on workshops including visual arts, music and songwriting, creative writing, movement, and DIY design. Each experience is intentionally designed to support emotional wellness, strengthen communication skills, and foster a sense of belonging.
Creative Kids Rock®️ provides a supportive and inclusive environment where youth are empowered to use their voice, develop their talents, and connect creativity to personal growth and community impact.
CKR After-School Program
Creative Kids Rock® is excited to launch our inaugural Colors & Conversations After School Program beginning August 2026! Designed for elementary and middle school students, this engaging program provides a safe, creative, and supportive environment where youth can complete homework, explore the arts, build confidence, and strengthen social and emotional skills.
Through hands on experiences in visual arts, music, entrepreneurship, baking, and creative expression, students will develop lifelong skills while discovering their unique talents. Join us after school for an inspiring experience where creativity, conversation, and community come together.
CKR Summer Camp 2026
Take a look back at an unforgettable summer of creativity, confidence, and connection! Throughout our Creative Kids Rock® Colors & Conversations Summer Camp, youth explored visual arts, music, leadership, wellness, entrepreneurship, and social-emotional learning through hands-on experiences led by talented artists, community partners, and mentors.
