CGR Community Giveback Initiative
The CGR Back-to-School Bash began in 2020 as a part of our CGR Youth Development Initiative in response to the negative economic impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on the Greater Nashville community. It is now an annual event during which we solicit community sponsors and volunteers to fill thousands of backpacks with school supplies. Beyond school supplies, we also distribute diapers, baby wipes, dental and personal hygiene products, socks, and cleaning supplies.
From 2020 to current, CGR has distributed over 15,000 backpacks to the Greater Nashville community with the help of our sponsors and community partners.

Back-2-School Bash 2024 Recap
On Saturday, August 3, 2024, we proudly partnered with Metro Nashville Public Schools Visual Arts, The PENCIL Foundation, and other local nonprofits to host a Back-to-School Bash, ensuring students had the resources they need for a successful school year. At the event, we distributed over 1,000 backpacks filled with art supplies, along with diapers, books, and other school essentials. To further support our community, we also offered free haircuts, creating a day of giving and celebration that set students up for success as they head back to the classroom.
